Ger and Z Wellie 72, 2011
Ger O’Brien, the Proprietor of this long established centre, has many years of experience as a breeder, producer, competitor and trainer in the equestrian sport. Ger has also achieved his Level Two HSI Showjumping Qualification. He has trained numerous adults and children to the highest standard including a silver team European medalist.

This facility is home to one of Irelands best All-weather Gel surfaces, and offers a window of opportunity for customers in search of suitable rides. Raheen-Na-Gun stud has some of Ireland's top horses and ponies competing regularly in our SJAI affiliated training leagues and points shows.
Z Wellie 72, our own seven year old stallion, is currently standing at Stud here in Raheen-na-gun. Z Wellie is by Celano (by Capital 1), out of a Germus R mare is proving to be a young horse to watch for the future. He is ridden by Gerard O’Neill, and was already placed 4th in the Grand Prix in Maryville on the 27th of March 2011. Z Wellie was described by the judges as being “one for the future”. International riders, local riding clubs, pony clubs and schools make frequent use of our excellent facilities which are available for hire all year round.
